Following the success of the Low Carbon Cities Summit held in Shanghai on 28-29 January, London Companies Summit was held at City Hall, London on 8 June 2015.

The Mayor of London’s Office, London Sustainable Development Commission, Low Carbon Communities and technology dealmakers GP Bullhound have established this Low Carbon Companies Summit to support leading London and wider UK corporates active in sustainability. The Summit focused on green buildings, smart grid, electric vehicles, energy efficiency, waste to energy and recycling.

This was also an opportunity to meet with key Chinese officials and investors who were looking to develop ties with London and wider UK technology innovators with a view to providing projects and capital over the next few years.

China has one of the most ambitious investment plans in Low Carbon Technologies with London and wider UK companies are ideally placed to benefit.

The London Companies Summit was also supported by Imperial College London, Shanghai Services Federation, Shanghai Lingang Area Development Administration, Shanghai-Lingang New City Investment & Construction Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Harbour City Development (Group) Co., Ltd.
